Submission of Residence Card | If there is any change in residence status or period of stay, please submit photos of both sides of your residence card to the International Center Online Support Desk. |
Submission of the Monthly Questionnaire |
Monthly Attendance Confirmation in Response to a Directive from MEXT(questionnaire asking class attendance/research activities) As a directive to national, public and private universities in Japan, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology (MEXT) announced in 2019 a new policy on the strict management of enrollment of international students, and it has now become mandatory for universities to inform MEXT of international students who are longͲterm absentees of one month or more. In response to the directive, the International Centers require all international students to submit monthly questionnaires asking if they attend classes or conduct research activities during class periods from April to July and October to January for their attendance confirmation. Cell Phone Contract / Change of Telephone Number |
If you enter a cell phone contract after enrolling: log in to manaba+R and access CAMPUS WEB to register the number. |
Change of Address or Personal Information |
If your address changes, be sure to update your residence card at your city hall or ward office within 14 days. After completing those procedures, please submit photos of both sides of your residence card to the International Center Online Support Desk. Please refer to this webpage for instructions on how to update your information with the university. You may be sent important documents related to scholarships and tuition fees from time to time. If you do not change your current address or tuition fees billing address in accordance with the prescribed procedures, your tuition fees bill cannot be mailed correctly. |
Temporarily Leaving Japan |
If you have plans to temporarily leave Japan, for your home country or fieldwork during summer/winter break, or due to a leave of absence, please submit the Notification for Temporarily Leaving Japan. The form will help the university check your safety in case natural disasters or terrorist attacks occur in/near a place you stay. |
Change to Enrollment Status |
If you wish to change your enrollment status, please contact the administrative office of your college/graduate school (Manabi Station for OIC) and the International Center on your campus as soon as possible. If you take a leave of absence, be sure to submit the Notification for Temporarily Leaving Japan above as well. |
