Scholarships at Ritsumeikan University

• Study Abroad Challenge Scholarship 

• • • No application required. This scholarship is available to almost all participants. Detailed information, including the scholarship amount, can be found here.

    • Note: This scholarship encourages students to participate in and complete study abroad programs offered by the International Center, as well as other faculties and academic institutions within Ritsumeikan University. Please check with each faculty or academic institution for more details on their study abroad programs.

    • The scholarship amount varies depending on the destination region. The regions are categorized according to the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) overseas study support program.
    • If you participate in multiple overseas study programs, you can receive the Challenge Scholarship for each program.

• Study Abroad Support Scholarship 

• • • Applicants must meet financial eligibility criteria.
    • Eligible Programs: Only long-term programs of one semester or more (short-term programs are not eligible).
    • Application procedure is required.
    • The application period will coincide with the recruitment period for study abroad programs. Information will be announced via manaba+R, so please be sure to check regularly to avoid missing the opportunity.
